The History of Silver Sevens
Although this hotel and casino was initially known as Continental, Silver Sevens has also been known as Terrible’s Hotel and Casino, a name which stemmed from the privately owned American gas company Terrible Herbst. Terrible Herbst Oil Company is based in Paradise, Nevada, and was founded by Jerry Herbst and his sons during the late 1950’s.
The Continental Hotel and Casino was sold to the Herbst family’s casino gaming company E-T-T Gaming in 1999, and the establishment was reopened in 2000 as Terrible’s Hotel and Casino. This reopening took place just a year after the Continental Hotel and Casino was declared bankrupt in 1998 and officially closed in 1999.

The Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino offers both accommodation and casino gaming facilities to its guests, and the in-house casino offers more than 1,000 slot machines and video poker machines in total, including casino games from various renowned game development companies.
